Asset allocation is an exercise in matching financial assets with spending needs, lifestyle maintenance, and desire to pass wealth onto future generations or philanthropic causes.  Our relationship management teams work with clients to apply BBH’s investment insights to our clients’ personal circumstances and develop a tailored and strategic asset allocation.

Investment Solutions

We implement our clients' asset allocation through a combination of proprietary investment offerings created by BBH’s own investment teams, and solutions provided by carefully selected third party investment managers. For our proprietary offerings, we conduct rigorous fundamental research on every potential investment to estimate its intrinsic value and only purchase securities when the market price is significantly less than that. We only deploy our clients’ capital into what we view as the highest quality securities, and aim to hold them for long periods of time. 

As a complement to our proprietary investment strategies, we partner with third party investors who think and invest like we do. That means that all of our third party managers share our belief that fundamental, bottom-up value investing with a focus on high-quality securities is the best way to protect and grow wealth over time.
